Emerging Artists

Over the course of a 13-week program, students gain an understanding of theatre and develop a strong sense of appreciation for all aspects of producing a full-scall musical while rehearsing for their own production. The program allows cast members to work and create an ensemble performance while gaining a realistic community theatre experience not offered by many venues.

FALL 2026

SPRING 2027

Annual sessions consist of:

• Full director-actor collaboration – participants have the opportunity to collaborate in an ensemble piece that is guided by adult staff and allows room for growth as actors throughout the entire process.
• Process over product – by producing a piece of theatre and telling a story, actors receive new perspectives on theatrical techniques that can help further their career. By placing more emphasis on the rehearsal process, actors will be self-reflective on their journey as actors.
• Professional environment – all actors will be treated and will be expected to follow professional guidelines throughout the rehearsal process.
• Focus on ensemble –under the direction of our adult staff, emphasis will be placed on the creation and execution of ensemble.

FALL 2026

Designed as a more focused and intimate experience, this program offers selected participants the opportunity to work on a smaller-scale production that prioritizes artistic growth, collaboration and ensemble storytelling. Tuition is collected after auditions have concluded, creating a committed and supportive company of selected participants.

SPRING 2027

Students ages 7-15 who have demonstrated a desire for the performing arts will discover many aspects of theatre including acting, dance, voice and musical performance through both instruction and experience. Each session will culminate in a performance on the Villagers main stage.

SUMMER 2026

	SESSION #1 – MOANA JR. – June 29th -July 18th Disney’s Moana JR. is a 60-minute musical adaptation of the 2016 Disney animated film, bringing the adventures of Moana and her village of Motunui to life onstage. Moana JR. features all the beloved songs from the film, written by Tony®, GRAMMY, Emmy, and Pulitzer Prize-winning composer Lin-Manuel Miranda, Opetaia Foa’i, and Mark Mancina, including “How Far I’ll Go,” “Shiny,” and “You’re Welcome.”
	SESSION #2 – HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL 2 JR.- July 19th -August 8th The gang is back for an action-packed summer extravaganza as Troy, Gabriella and the rest of the Wildcats finish junior year and blast onto the summer scene in Disney’s High School Musical 2 JR. Based on Disney Channel’s blockbuster TV movie, Disney’s High School Musical 2 JR. can be performed as a follow-up to Disney’s High School Musical JR. or as an introduction to everyone’s favorite Wildcats.
