Fundraising. Special Event An exciting new play based on our attempts to understand events and people the only way we sometimes can…by filling in the blanks. This is a Yellow Brick Road fundraiser. From the playwright: In 2005 I started journaling about experiences that had shaped me or changed my perspective on certain social issues. There were things that had happened either to me, someone I knew, or someone I loved. If I wasn’t present to witness these events I would try reenacting the scenes in my head so I could get a clearer picture of what might have occurred. It challenged me to be creative and give those situations my perspective. For example: You have a friend who is quite obnoxious. We all have a friend like this: pushy, loud and overbearing, but you remain friends. Ever wonder why they act this way? What happened in this friend’s life to cause these imperfections? What’s the story? Sometimes you are forced to fill in the blanks. Opening Date: 10/07/2016
