A PIECE OF APPLE PIE
Written by Ken Schmidt

Directed by Darren Nye

Short Scene (Fantasy/Comedy), 5 actors playing 7 characters

Whenever they are remembered on Earth, famous souls, (e.g. Beethoven, Julia Child, Adam and Eve) go to a portal to enjoy the occasion of their remembrance, while eating their favorite food. But what of ordinary souls? Long forgotten, Harold Lowenstein, a World War II veteran, comes to life as he is remembered by his great grandson, leafing through old pictures and letters. Harold modestly requests a piece of apple pie, which he explains, “saved his life”.

GUARD BITCHES
Written by Molly Kate Babos

Directed by: Lauren Fogarty
Stage Manager: CJ Miller Geronimo

2 Act Play (Dark Comedy/Satire), 11 actors

Seventeen-year-old Julie wants to be captain of the color guard, and Julie ALWAYS gets what she wants. The only problem? McKayla, a well liked but unassuming junior on the team has been chosen for the role. Now it’s up to Annika, the team’s resident screw-up, to make sure the girls don’t murder each other. Is all of this worth a plastic trophy and a chance to go down in northeast color guard history? Yeah. Kind of.
