Our building is entirely at-grade with no steps or inclines to enter the lobby, bathrooms, or either theater.
Curb cuts are available for patrons with limited mobility to reach the front doors of the theatre without the need for steps or inclines.
BATHROOMS
Gender diversity is welcome at Villagers Theatre, and we encourage guests to use the restroom that best aligns with their personal gender identity or expression. Both men’s and women’s restrooms are located in the lobby, just past the main entrance; accessible stalls are available in each restroom.
NURSING PARENTS
Nursing parents may inquire with Theatre Management to request that a secluded area be provided to accommodate pumping or breastfeeding.
ACCESSIBLE SEATING
MAIN STAGE
There are no steps required to reach any row in our main stage auditorium.
Freestanding chairs are located in the last row of the theater that may provide more space for patrons with mobility disabilities or who require extra space.
Designated accessible seats are located in the front-right and rear-left of the theater for patrons in wheelchairs or mobility devices. These are open spaces that can accommodate a wheelchair or be replaced with a freestanding chair for guests who are able to transfer.
BLACK BOX
Based on configuration, our black box theater may utilize tiered seating on risers that require steps to each row. Designated seats for guests with disabilities will be reserved in the front row of at least one seating section, to accommodate guests in wheelchairs or with limited mobility.

WHEELCHAIR STORAGE
Patrons who transfer from their wheelchairs or mobility devices will be able to have their chair or device stored with theatre management for the duration of the performance; staff will be available to assist patrons in retrieving their chair or device.
COURTESY WHEELCHAIR
A courtesy wheelchair is available to transport guests transport to and from their seats, free of charge. Please inquire with house management. Our courtesy wheelchair is not available to use for seating during the performance.
LARGE PRINT PROGRAMS
Large print programs are available upon request; please inquire with Theatre Management or email Access@VillagersTheatre.org in advance to request.
SERVICE ANIMALS
Service animals are trained to help with performing a function for a person that is limited by a disability, and are both welcome in our theater. We will not request proof of certification or demonstration of a service animal’s training, but all service animals and their owners are liable to abide by all other policies and procedures.
Management reserves the right to request service animals be removed from the premises in the event of uncontrolled, disruptive behavior, including (but not limited to) barking, growling, jumping on other people, or running away.
All other animals, including emotional support animals, are not admittable in the theater to ensure the health and safety of our audiences, artists, staff, and volunteers.
